The long version
How one person ends up doing all of it.
I arrived in Denmark without a network, without a shortcut and without anyone to hand the work to. So I learned to do the work — all of it. Not as a philosophy, and not as a personal brand. As arithmetic: if the thing has to exist and there is nobody to build it, you become the person who builds it.
Copenhagen gave me one room in Christianshavn. Everything since has been built out from that room. First a school, because the teaching in the city was thinner than it should have been. Then a hot studio, because a warm room is the easiest door to walk through. Then a studio nobody had built anywhere — a floor of transducers that plays sound through the body instead of at it.
Every one of those needed software, and every piece of software we could rent came with someone else holding the roadmap. Mindbody decided what our members could do. A website builder announced a shutdown date and set our timeline for us. So the platform became a project too, and then a company: Booking Bible, built in the same building as the studios it runs, tested at the front desk before it is sold to anyone.
The word on the front of this site is not a boast, it is a description of the workload. I found the companies, model the schema, write the TypeScript, design the interface, shoot the photography, run the ads, do the VAT, and teach the 200-hour training. Doing all of it is not the point. Being able to see the whole system at once — from the transducer under the floor to the migration that bills the membership — is.

How the work gets made
Operating principles.
Each of these is enforced somewhere in the codebases or the schedule. None of them were invented for this page.

Quality over profit — always.
The house rule of the school, and the reason a cohort has never been oversold to fill a room. It survived the rename and it decides the roadmap.

Own the stack.
Mindbody ran the studios until it decided the roadmap; Framer hosted a site until it announced a shutdown. Every rented layer eventually charges rent in decisions. So the platform is ours, the apps are ours, the payments rails are ours.

Dogfood before you sell.
Every platform's first customer is one of my own studios. If a feature annoys me at my own front desk at 07:58, it gets fixed before anyone else is asked to pay for it.

Fail closed, never invent.
If the backend cannot confirm a class, a price or a viewer count, nothing is shown. An empty day renders empty. No number on a customer-facing screen is ever a guess.

Every risky thing is reversible.
Staging-first migrations, kill switches on every risky subsystem, append-only audit logs, dry-run imports. Speed is only affordable when the undo works.

One address.
The school, both studios and the office are the same building in Christianshavn. Being able to walk into the problem is a genuine engineering advantage.
